While tall in sixth grade, O’Neal is far from the record-holder for teenage height. In 2009, O’Neal hung out with 7-foot 4-inch 12-year-old Brenden Adams who is the tallest teenager alive. As of 2014, Adams measured 7 feet 7 inches tall at age 19. Adams is as tall as two of O’Neal’s fellow NBA alumni, Manute Bol and Gheorghe Mureșan, the tallest men to have ever played in the league.
