To look up a GHIN number by name, visit GHIN’s official website and use the lookup function. You will need the golfer’s name and the state or country of golf club, if known.

The link of the official website is http://www.ghin.com/lookup.aspx.

Type in the golfer’s known information
This includes the first and last name of the golfer and the state or country of golf club, if known. A search can also be performed if the golf club is unknown by clicking on unknown in the pull-down menu.

The golfer’s information should now be displayed including the USGA Handicap Index as well as the last 20 scores used to calculate it.
