How Do You Customize Your DirecTV Channel Guide?
To customize your DirecTV channel guide, press Guide on your remote, press the yellow button to display the Guide options menu, select Change Favorites List, select Setup Custom, select Add Channels, press Select, and press the left arrow twice. Select Yes, Change Current, and press Guide on your remote again.
Now your on-screen guide displays only the channels to which you are subscribed. To use this DirecTV channel guide feature, you must have either a standard receiver, an HD receiver, a Plus DVR or a Plus HD DVR.

To compile a custom list, press Menu on your remote, select Settings & Help, select Favorite Channels, select the appropriate list to set up, such as Set Up Custom 1 or Set Up Custom 2, select Edit List, and choose your favorite channels. You must have an HD receiver or an HD DVR to compile a custom list with this method.
If you have a standard receiver or a DVR, press Menu on your remote, select Favorites, select the appropriate list, such as Set Up Custom 1 or Set Up Custom 2, select Edit List, and choose your favorite channels.
