The Peace Lily, or Spathiphyllum, is a plant that produces white flowers. Peace Lily flowers are similar in shape to anthuriums, which generates confusion among inexperienced plant buyers. The difference between the plants is that anthuriums produce flowers of different colors, while Peace Lily flowers are always white.
To ensure healthy blooms, place the Peace Lily plant in a bright spot without direct sunlight, and keep the soil moist. As it is a tropical plant, warmth and rain water are also beneficial for its general well being. A pot-bound plant’s only means to propagate is by producing more flowers to release more seeds, so keeping a Peace Lily potted ensures more regular flower production.
