What Is Included With the $5 Daily Special at Subway?

As of 2015, the price of the daily special has gone up from $5 to $6, but includes the same 6-inch sub sandwich, bag of chips and fountain drink. With the new $6 special, customers can now choose their sandwich from a list.
With the $5 special, each day of the week had a sandwich associated with it that customers had to choose to get the deal. For example, Tuesday would be Meatball Marinara and Thursday might be Italian B.M.T. In exchange for raising the cost of the special by $1, customers can now choose between six different sandwiches, such as the Black Forest Ham or Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki, regardless of the day of the week.
