How Do You Donate Your Old Eyeglasses to the Lions Club?
As of 2015, individuals can donate eyeglasses to Lions Club International through the mail or by dropping them off at a Lions Club eyeglass recycling center or a participating Walmart Vision Center. All eyeglasses collected at Walmart are sent to an official Lions Club eyeglass recycling center. The address to mail eyeglasses is Lions Club International Headquarters, Attn: Receiving Department, 300 W. 22nd St., Oak Brook, IL 60523.
A list of Lions Club eyeglass recycling centers is available online at LionsClubs.org by clicking the Club Locator link at the top of the home page, and then the Eyeglass Collection Locations link. The list of eyeglass recycling centers is under the USA heading near the bottom of the page. The links to the individual centers provide information that may include the recycling center’s mail, street, website and email addresses. The listing may also include the center’s telephone number, hours of operation and contact names.
